Hi folks, have been reading this forum for about a year now. Learning a Lot! Thanks to all who contribute their time and knowledge. :2thumbs:

I have a question on the 6-pack I'm rebuilding for my son's and my 70 RT.

I was an original owner of a 69-1/2 RR 6-BBL.
Did a few mods on it and ran 12.80s with street tires back when.

I remember drilling out the secondary metering plates and remember the fronts and rears were different with one of the plate having a staggered pair.
Trouble is, today I read conflicting info on whether the fronts have the larger sizes or the rear, also to stagger or not.

Our 440 has the 286-286 duration 72 deg overlap .484 lift cam. 906 heads w/ 2.14 intakes and 1.81 exhaust, mildly ported with a blended bowl area.
Port matching and a C.R. of 9.5:1
Hooker super comp 1-7/8 primaries, 727 Trans and 3.23 gears and a hemi/383 converter.

Guidance please!

I would leave them stock - The gears are going to hurt you a little - some 3.55 would wake that combo up a little more.

Yeah, I should have mentioned we're going to 3.55s or 3.90s.
I know the jetting changes worked on the old 69-1/2, but that had 4.10s wth fenderwell exit Hookers.

I always hate drilling because you can always make a mistake. I use the Promax jettable plates in my sixpack. Promax also has a chart on different jet sizes that you can use if you want to go staggered jetting.

Hey Guys, any info on the stock sizes is appreciated.
I have the square metering plates and if I remember the stock sizes were .073 with an idle restriction of .029.
Holley has sizes listed, but no pics, and they haven't answered my questions yet.

Thanks
