Bull Purple posted some pics of his '68, and I noticed that his radiator opening is narrower than mine, looks to be about 3" on the passenger side-What's up with that? My recollection is that my car was originally a 318, but it came to me with a 318 Poly in the hole...which motors got the wider opening/bigger radiator? I'm really going to have to go through my Mother's house one dust mote at a time to find that fender tag...
Jeez got my peeps mixed up.

Belgium R/T -68

I had a 22" in mine, 440 R/T although without AC. Maybe AC or not decided or the customer,
definetly not the enginesize according to my opinion.

318's with A/C had a 26 inch rad. But the small block 26 inch rad was different from the big block 26 inch rad. The inlet and outlet hoses on the small block rads were on the same side.

That fits in with what I remember. I don't remember the hoses, but it seems I had to swap radiators along with the 440.
Too many bumps on the head since then to remember clearly.
So why did my original 4-speed, non-A/C 440 R/T have the big radiator when not everybody's did?
