delay wipers

  Has anyone upgraded their wipers to a delayed wiper setup or know what it would take??

I've never done it but it seems like it would be pretty easy. They're a pretty basic time-delay switch, nothing fancy.

I have installed delay wipers on the Daytona (2 speed) and the 66 Charger (variable speed)....all I did was get after market delay box from auto part store and wire it in.....delays from 2-20 seconds

I ferget the name of the little box....it's gray, has a slider switch and on-off switch....it's about 2x3" square

I wonder why? My kids Challenger has wipers that slide under the edge of the hood but its got a 2 speed motor and my 68 has a 3 speed wiper setup.

because the delay system uses to make half turn and then return... everytime you make that on hidden system ( specially on 2 speeds ) the wiper doesn't get all the run, untill parking cam is relocated to make just the glass run... or something like that

I'm not entirelly on details but something like that is the reason
