Black is on, the pictures show more gloss than there actually is... They were still wet, the finished look is a semi gloss. The finish is also textured. turned out sweet.

Buffing a car, that has taken you 5 1/2 years to build, and not rush the job is tough.   :brickwall: I'm almost finished though and it's turning out great....

I cannot add any more positive comments than previously stated - she's breath taking!  :2thumbs:

A couple questions if I may: Who manufactures the front sway bar w/ brackets pictured in posting #39? Describe the brake system used, and what brand/number of black paint was used on the V21 and deck stripes?

Thanks.

Thanks everybody

Thanks Nickrc3, The front sway bar is a 1 1/4" tubular from Firm Feel. The front brake system is Baer brakes 14" rotors, 6 piston calipers, with a Hydro boost system. The rear brakes are 11" rotors and the calipers are from a 94 Z-28 with the same style Baer brake rotors. The brake system is amazing on this car! The black paint I tried to simulate the Organosol Black. I used SEM HR010 Hot Rod Black (Single stage Urethane). I put two solid coats on then fogged the last two coats to get the textured finish. I think it turned out pretty good. It looks as close to any "Organosol" paint I've seen at car shows in the Cincinnati area. I'm not to worried, I figure I can take artistic license with the black since it's a custom car anyway...

This project looks great!  I'm glad to have this kinda talent so close. :icon_smile_cool: Are you painting yourself? Are you for hire?  I'm also interested in the rearend.  Is this a 4 link?  I cant tell from the picture.  I am looking for someone with some info are doing a 4 link DIY as opposed to dropping  2.5K in a kit.  I want to be able to tweak the ride height.

Looking great! keep up the good work.

Thanks cincyboy... I do all the work myself. Not for hire though, I've got several project behind this one for my two gear-head daughters. always interested in giving tips on how to DIY though.

I forgot to post a shot of the car just after i tore down the paint booth. Hopefully get some more pics coming now that I have the car running again with the new wiring harness.
