I was watching an engine tuning video. What ,if any ,vacuum guage reading should your passenger be seeing as the engine approaches it max rpm?

1" + or - .5" depending on your combo/purpose/driving style.

If the engine is pulling in excess of 1in hg of vacuum....the carb is technically too small (for max performance)

For a street car it's not a huge issue unless the carb is grossly undersized.  :Twocents:
