Only picture I can find of it here...

sometime before 1976.

A cousin of my cousin, who restores MOPARS, has a buddy that is a serious MOPAR collecter.  The collector bought the car from a guy, who bought the car from a guy whose location and time means he was the guy my dad sold it to.
Waiting for VIN to see which dealer it originally went to (know what dealer it was bought from).

It was restored 3 years ago, resides a few states away from me, and my cousin's cousin sent me some pics he had taken.

Thanks guys,
I think I need to start a Daytona fund.....

but I just can't imagine driving the hell out of and enjoying something so valuable.

It's like with those collector toys that are worth a fortune mint in box in original packaging,
but I would have to open them up and play hard...

well,
maybe not it! Dang!
Not sure if it is or is not now.

The restored car vin's out to the one that was delivered to Goss Dodge in Burlington VT.
Ours was bought at Hartwin's in Greenfield MA.

So, was it dealer swapped from Vt to Ma, or is it more likely ours was swapped from a closer dealer to Hartwins.

There were what, like 8 F6 White Wing/White Interior 440s, and one hemi?

Do we know where each of those cars was originally delivered?

Hartwin's changed to Browns in the late 90s and has none of the old paperwork from before the change.
Mom is working her insurance and the DMV to see if she can find our old VIN.

Ours was sold to a guy in Bennington VT around 76 who I believe also had a white one.

Wow, that sure looks nice. :drool5: F6 and white is one of my favorite color combos for Daytonas (I do slightly prefer steel wheels and dog dishes though). Great car! :2thumbs:

I can account for one of the eight at one period in time anyway. I came across one in southern Iowa in the early 80's. I think it was sold in Missouri originally but I don't know that for sure. Might help rule out one of the eight. It was a 440 auto car. I never got the vin. Wished I did now looking back. But it was F-6 white wing/white interior.

I saw a real project of a daytona in a storage yard  one of those public storage yards in 1991 on aurora avenue in lynnwood washington. looked to be a very faded red it was thrashed good, sat there for two days then gone. it was about 200th street hwy 99. I went back with some dough just to see what I could find out about it,and it was gone>

That same year I saw a green one up in mt vernon washington at a gas station , then a guy in burlington wa had one with a 500 front end on it and the holes on the quarters had been bondoed over but had braces still in trunk, it was just at some dudes house, anyone know anything about these cars in the greater seattle area???? :scratchchin:
