This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

I hear ya. I talked to her a while ago, maybey just one cruise night or something, nothing much. She agreed. Basically, i know the rest of the time it is going to be about her anyway. She likes cruising around in the Charger too, and the best part is she cannot stand the Toyota Prius :2thumbs:

We are renting a car for a couple days to travel the island so if i see something im sure i could stop for a few minutes.

I doubt you're going to find much there worth looking at regarding wrecking yards. Between the routine rainfall and nearly constant salt-filled wind coming in off the ocean, most of the stuff is rusted junk before it makes it 20 years.

My wife and I took the kids last year and we visited several Islands, belive it or not there is a lot of gems driving around (relativly). Honalulu is very upscale and we saw at least 3-4 ferraris, lambos, big money deals cruising the beach! Also saw a decent car show at a park down the street one night. The other islands are mostly big trucks and I mean big , and I mean everyware if it has 4x4 it is jacked :2thumbs: Over all the beauty of the islands is nice but after honalulu they are pretty primative and not really muscle car oriented.   good luck with the mariage and trip

I grew up in Maui...the big thing back then was older Beamers and trucks. Trucks hold their value like NOWHERE else. There are some local races but nothing amazing. Lot's of dirt track bikes and such. As far as the salt air eating everything OOOH Yeah! Friends of my parents were SOO happy when plastic screening came out cause they lived in their own cove on the beach! Pull some info about racing and you might find some cruise in stuff...expect mostly ricers.
Trust your Woobie!

I had an electrical contracting business on oahu in the 80's and early 90's.  I know there was a mopar club over there then and I knew a guy that had a nice '68 GTX.  Bob
