Love the experiment, but you may be building a flaw into your data with the title of the thread.

"Vinyl Top Poll" may not catch the interest of a Hard-Top guy.

But the spelling of "vinal"(sic) in the topic subject might. I'm beginning think Brock did it purposely; it is a Freudian type of thing....

69 runner   is suppost to be a rare option gloss black painted roof , but it had a vinal top on it when i got it so when I restored it i stupidly put it back on .

Now a shade of V2, black top, interior & stripe


But you all already knew that

Ah, but on the other side of that, most vinyl top cars would have been likely to be ones ordered with other options and therefore more valuable and the first tobe saved.
All the cheap ones that came without the top and just a base drivetrain would have been better candidates for the earlier rounds of crushing.
