Well, since I am in extremely hot water lately with the wife, I had to pretty much go all out.  She has mentioned that she wanted a music box with the song 100 years by Five for Fighting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9ThFhrwV-c  so no one makes that song in a music box.  Next thing I thought of was those recordable greeting cards which I adapted and recorded the song and then installed it into a jewelry box.  I also have a variety of flowers from 1-800 flowers being sent to her job to suprise her tomorrow.

Man, I used to love that song.....completley forgot about it. Thanks for the memory trip! To answer Lisa's question, I'm not really sure what I'm going to do for my someone special yet

We WERE going to the race track for Valentines day...cancelled due to unsafe conditions. Cold and Wet...only good for a pups nose. So we'll be making room in the garage for the engine and trans I got for Valentines day...today more work on the Belvedere tomorrow...snuggling in the morning followed by grumbling to move stuff around in garage...then early dinner at home...we ARE still newlyweds!

It's also my oldest son's birthday so I cook both of thier favorites. Steak, shrimp and chicken on the grill along with deep fried onions and cheese stix. Washed down with homemade wine and margeritas. It's always strange grilling and deep frying in the snow but you take the weather as it is.

then I got a couple little suprises for her, one is a CD compilation I made of Bent songs (i like to suprise her with compos. of music she's never heard.) She's a superb musician and truly excellent singer BTW.

      ...then there's this little stirling silver brooch I found at the flea market last Sunday... I'm gonna wrap it in several progressively larger boxes as she's gets more and more expectant as each box reveals another...  
I have a tradition of finding her little horse pins usually colts,.. she loves horses and riding I'd take her horse riding but her back injuries make that impossible unfortunately...

I do not really like valentine and every time I say to myself it's useless and why do I need a special day in the year to show someone that I like them, yet every time I end up doing something... 10AM. Shattered my two small toes on my left foot in a karate match. Foot was so swollen I couldn't get my shoe on. And it's February in New Hampshire.
12PM. Finally got back to my apartment, driving home every time I pushed in the clutch it brought tears to my eyes.
12:01PM Exterior door knob to my apartment comes off in my hands, apartment manager not around, no cell phones back then, had to break into my own apartment.
Mid-afternoon. Went with the GF to teach her niece and nephew how to bowl. Niece managed to step on my two broken toes
That evening. Got engaged to GF.
February 14,2010. Still married to the same GF.
Moral of the story. No matter how painful the start of the relationship is. . . . . . . . . .  oh who am I kidding, it doesn't get any better.
