Big day for me......picture of my Charger NEW!!!!!

I've been waiting for this day for a long time.....finally got a picture of my Charger in new condition! Unfortentley Pat (the original owner) says this is the only picture he can find but it's better than nothing. It's so cool for me to see this. This picture Pat says was taken around 1973-1974 and that's his wife in the picture.

thats great , got a picture from your chargers original owner   i'm  pleased for you Dude    another part of your cars history    i spy tall front bumper guards , was your a late build   69  !!  from  May onwards  or was it march   or have i just drempt this up

Well I do have my plan for it and I do intend to go along with it, however like I mentioned to Pat in an email today, one day when the silver gets tired and I'm ready for a change, I will highly consider putting it back to original condition (of course with a few of my own touches )

Your car originally is the same color my '69 was new. And it is one of my favorite colors on 2nd gen Charger's. My car would of went back to the original color if my ex-wife wouldn't of made me sell it

That is pretty awesome. That will make a fine addition to the documentation of your cars history. I got a few pics of the liz back in the early 90's but nothing even remotely close to when it was new like what you got there. Congradulations and take good care of that baby.

(I'd go the console route  ) but whatever you do, its gonna be awesome!

That's really neat.  I would love to find the same for my car, but I have no information.  What's so cool about that picture is that it shows how the previous owner thought how great looking the car was back then when it was only 4 years old.  That's what that picture is.  Not his wife by the car, but the car he was shooting, because the Charger just excites men.  Great looking 40 years and still going.  Timeless.
Though I did notice how it says R/T on the head lamp door in the today picture and I can't find that emblem in the original shot, that's odd?

Yeah, I decided to take the console auto route......my Duster satisfies my column shift needs

Though I did notice how it says R/T on the head lamp door in the today picture and I can't find that emblem in the original shot, that's odd?  

I added it because it's gonna be an R/T clone

Hey Per, I found the last owner after I responded to an ad on Craigslist for 1969 Charger parts. Tracked down the second owner by old registration papers and I managed to track down the original owner by old receipts I had.

Cody I must ask how the charger is coming along. I have been seeing plenty of pics of the duster and I love every one of them but the charger is the MAIN project. How is going? How are the funds for paint looking? Did you ever get her running?

Don't have the money for body yet.....let alone paint. However, I've been restoring little parts and picking up new parts as time goes

They did actually get stolen Me and my dad put them on our travel trailer to cover up the bare steel wheels. Who figured the WHOLE TRAILER would of got stolen
