Hi guys!

Im buliding a 415 stroker based on a 360 engine 4" x 4.060"

What im looking for now is a good camshaft that will work with Edelbrock Performer RPM heads.

These heads only allow 575 lift. The one im currently looking at is http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-20-702-9/
Mechanical Roller Tappet, Advertised Duration 308/308, Lift .575/.575

What do you guys think of this combo?

PS! This will be used only for dragracing..

:o   I'm still learning about cams myself but damn....   That seems like alot of cam.   I hope you have some major gears and stall converter.   :yesnod:   Ron will be the man to help you but first he will need to know the total build and what are you going to do.
List the complete engine build: all parts and compression ratio
what tranny/if auto, what stall:
what rear end and gears:

As a rule of thumb, you can get away with more aggressive lobe profiles with Roller cams than flat tappet cams..Therefore a roller will be more "Streetable" than say a solid flat tappet of the same "Size".....A 415 C.I. Would need right around that size cam, maybe more I'd need to know the duration @ .050 though to be sure and alot more about the engine..Ie: Static Compression Ratio (Not ratio of advertized pistons), Porting (Cnc) of heads if any, Induction set up (Intake/carb size combination), Header primary size, etc..

Hi again guys!

4,10:1 rear and 4500 stall.

Heads will be ported by a local enginebuilder that also will assemble the engine.

This is my stroker kit: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SCA-1-48033BI/ but with 0.060" overbore.

Super Victor intake: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-2815/

I have a 750 DP carb, but thinking maybe it will come out to small?
