383 4 Speed with Air confirmed..

Well, I'm happy, yet confused and feel a little bad......  As some of you may know, I've been restoring my 68 Charger-see the link to the progress thread.   http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,56485.0.html    .  When I got this car, I was told by many people over and over, your car isn't original because mother Mopar didn't make any big blocks with air and in a 4 speed.  I took this information and said I really didn't care if this is true or not because this is the first car I was/am making it how I want.  Well, today I figure I would go get the original trans from the guy I got the car from (friend) and start digging up the info.  To my amazement, the trans does have the VIN on it, and the partial build sheet shows it's a air conditioned car!  Does anyone have a clue how limited this car could be?  I feel a little bad since I changed it so much, but I guess I can always change it back in the future

I guess I should just feel lucky right now...

This page shows that AC was an option on '68 Charger & Charger R/T, so it had to be available on big block cars;
