I built this back in October for a show in November. I ended up getting 1st place in the Junior Class and Best of Show Junior. Detail includes plug wires, throttle return spring, fuel lines and filter, cloth seat belts, carpeting. Enjoy!

This is the last model I've built for myself in a while. I've almost completley stopped building besides the models I commited to build for members.

It's actually more close to the '70 colour code EB3 (pictured). Thanks for the compliments everyone!

Great Job

Is the the Revell Monogram kit?

I tried that to... but not exactly the same result :smilielol:

You do a great job man, are you willing to do anymore of those models so my charger replica doesn't end up like this..

2005 Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster Custom - Maggie
2012 370Z NISMO - Courtney
1979 Corvette L-82 - Lilly
1969 Dodge Charger R/T Clone - Vanessa

Very nice and congrats. The body paint is a #1 job!

I notice that interior and outside mirrors and "340 six pack" decals are missing. Did they stop including this stuff with this old kit? Also, I thought I remembered these kits having side marker lights - did they delete them now or did you fill them? It's interesting how they change old kits over the years.

A suggestion on some easy detail stuff would set it off!: Consider chrome on the the eyebrow trim on the leading fender edges and the rear side window trim and wheel well trim, door handles silver, cowl vents black, and rallye centers argent. I too struggle with how much detail to do and usually fall for the easy stuff like this instead of plug wires and such. You got fortitude!

Richard Erhenberg would bitch about the radiator support not being blacked out on the front face of the car (an inside joke for Mopar Action readers).

Yep, it's the R/M kit. Honestley, not at the moment...got too much going with finishing up school, practicing guitar, working on my cars....and the main thing is I already got 4 models going for people. Once I'm done those and you don't have one done yet, we'll talk :2thumbs:

It was meant to be a more custom type car. Always have had issues with the inside mirror, even with superglue. The outside mirrors weren't done in time for the show so I honestley left them off. I did a bunch of body work to the car which included molding in the front valance, filling in the door handles and marker lights, shaving the drip rails and wheel well trim and that kind of stuff. One thing that does bug me about it which you mentioned was the quarter window trim. I should of done it chrome instead of leaving it body colour. I did a completley factory stock '70 T/A about a year ago.....here it is.

Here are a couple of cool pictures. These are all of the T/A's I've built over the years. The Panther Pink one was first, second came the blue T/A on the far right (built for a forgotten type diorama), then the red T/A and last the B3 T/A.....

No wonder it looks so sleek. I forgot how bad the front valance fit on that kit. Major improvement with the molding job!
