Clever, that should force some air across the rad.  Of course now you have to remove it to pick the bugs out of the fins.

It's a GM paint code. 39U 608R Voodoo Blue Metallic. Used from 2007-2010 I believe. I am also using this color on my 68. You will have sticker shock on the price. The cheaper Omni Paint is $161.00/gallon. The top of the line PPG Paint is $681.00/gallon. And that's with my 20% discount. Add in the activator for $70.00 for one gallon of paint, an additional additive that this paint takes for the pearl at $200.00/qt.(need 2 quarts/gallon), several hundred dollars for the clear and I have more money into paint supplies than I do the purchase price for my 71 Charger.
The paint supplier and the guy painting my car both agree that the cheaper paint won't have the same "pop" as the PPG brand.

Just a note.

If you are trying to buy this paint.  You want to ask for paint code WA608R -  Voodoo Blue Its actually re-released colour by GM for 2007 + Cars.

Asking for code 39U will probably get you a colour called Indigo Blue ( WA856J)  which is a darker blue and different colour all together !!!

GM paint codes are tricky as they always require "WA" in front of the acutally numeric code.   When you look at the sticker inside the vehicle ( usually in the glove box or under spare tire cover ) It will have the paint code but wiht a "U" in front of it  ( U608R or U8555)  the "U" should really be "WA". Don't ask me why they do it this way.  It may aslo give you a 2-digit code (39U) which is a reference number really, if you only have this code when trying to buy paint make sure you know specific year, model, make  as this number can be used to reference severl colours from many diffferent years!!!

Your True GM/Pontiac/Buick/Chevrolet ect, paint code should always start with WA and be a 3-4 digit number sometimes with letter on the end.
