Ok, I'm an analyst so I like facts and real scientific data. However, even I have to think this study fails because it has such a narrow scope. From a numbers standpoint it may seem like a good solution solely for the environmental impact but I think that pets tend to have a much greater impact on most people's lives. I also noticed they used 6,200 miles per year for the SUV when I drive almost 2,000 miles per month. It must be a European thing - like "fishmongers".

Will this start a fight between PETA and the Greenies?

Troy,

If you ever sat in the same room with Tiger, (the crazy dog I used to have) after he ransacked the trash or the compost to eat, & had to breathe the same air his exhaust contaminated, you might find a lot of truth to the article.  :smilielol:

I'm glad I wasn't the only one to notice that steaming pile of trash. The environmentalists are going waaaay too far these days...

   Ask the tree huggers how many pets do they have ?  How many of them drive gas cars ?  How many of them live in wood houses ?   :smilielol:

Talk about a waste of time and money for this study.   :smilielol: :smilielol:
