Still working on the wheels.. but here's a render.. not sure if you mean this r/t stripe color

Modern look:

Now thats pimpin!

Nice work Kingjoop!

Hope to see those ET classic 5's on it and maybe make the blue darker so its more like a black with a deep subtle blue in it... and make the orange if possible not look like chrome and in Hemi Orange.

Kingjoop -

Is that Charger rendering based on hard data (in terms of the body's dimensions)?  Or were you essentially freehanding it?

RECHRGD

As somebody said, these cars are old school and that's why most of us like them.  Hell, most of them had 14" wheels (unless you had a Hemi) so even a 15" wheel is an upgrade.  I've seen some 16" wheels that would look good but I just can't behind the huge wheels on these cars unless they are needed for performance reasons as in Mr. Angry and Angrier.   :Twocents:  Bob

and the rims to a 5 spoke pro stars by Weld wheels, Thank you

Its great to see some Chargers that are not done up in the usual all stock look but I have always appreciated how they came from the factory.
What kingjoop is illustrating is no different than changes that include big brakes, bigger torsion bars and other suspension mods that make the these cars perform better is also great and could be changed back to stock when needed as well.

I guess it all depends on what you want and how you will bring your own Charger back to life....and thats what it is all about right?

HITMAN 149

yes abosolutley BLACK!!!! all that matters is your happy with your car & that it's being saved/brought back to life!!!

Man, I really have the hots for black 2nd-gens with steel wheels.  The slightly lowered front end completes the picture just right.

(hey Kingjoop, in case you didn't notice, I sent you a message the other day)

KJ,

I just think this set up is awesome and it's probably very close to what my 69 is gonna look like when done except for a red stripe and i'll probably keep the rim centres shiny......

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

Dude, I'm tellin' ya. Listen to Mike and I, replace the black steel wheels above with some Basset Nascar wheels, leave the BFG TAs on and your search will be over.
