Found two more, one on Yuba City CA craigslist: http://yubasutter.craigslist.org/cto/1669590791.html

I have a 1969 Dodge Charger "project" car. This was originally a 6 cyl, but it comes with a 440 engine. The engine came from a 1977 or so motor home so it has the extra cooling passage ways in the block. Currently it is disassembled and not in the car. The car is in decent shape except for the back left corner. It looks like it was rear-ended, but not bad. There is a picture of it. Also the trunk area is rusted and lower quarters, but I have new trunk pans to put in and will come with the car. The floor boards are good but just have surface rust on them. I began working on the car but I have too many other jobs to work on. I bought this as a project car so it does have a few things missing, but I don't know what. This car has the shifter on the center console, something desirable for these cars as a lot of them are on the steering column. I am asking $8,000. Select an image and you can see more pics as well.

Another I found was nearby in Santa Cruz CA. I bought some door panels from a guy and he had sold a 69 slant six charger to a guy in the Netherlands fairly recently.

Also, to the guy that beat me to the 68 back seat he had for sale, I apologize for cursing you. ;D

Thanks,

John D

A few years ago, I had a 70 Charger 500 /6 three on the tree export car. I spoke to a certain knowledgeable member of the mopar hobby about the car and he told me that there were only nine slant 500's made and he told me that he would bet on mine being a one of one car. I don't have the vin on file anymore, but I know the car was last located in or around Pocatello, ID. The car was FE5 with a white interior and no vinyl top. It had a poly 318 in it wile I had it. I was told that if it was restored, people would walk past HEMI cars to see it, but it would be worth less than a 318 car because no one wants it. So I sent it down the road.
I'm smarter than I act, But I don't act smarter than I am.

Yea, well, I can get my son to appraise it at 2 bucks too. That doesn't make it correct. People try everything to make the car sound like it's the best thing on the planet.  :slap:

I'm just happy they chose to restore it on the frame.   I mean what would happen if they had chosen to restore it on railroad tracks and a train came before they were finished?

I think the /6 - 3 on tree cars is up to around 7 or so now.....that's only for the 68 model...
