Howdy!

Topic say it all. I'm planing to buy new rims but I'm not 100% sure what kind of rims I will buy.

But at the moment Vintage Wheel Works V45 or V40 is the way to go.

Now I would like to see those rims (16" and 17") on Charger. I just would like to see is 17" rims too big for Charger.

And also how wide tire I can choose to rear without any problems and also how much offset is needed in rear and front?

Anyway thank you already.

Best regards,
PP

I was thinking about going with Vintage wheel works also until I found out they dont make 15x12 wide wheels. For a charger (68-70) considering its more a square beefy looking muscle car I would say V40 because they are square in the spoke (no curve)... but if your talking a 71-74 charger then V45s with the D curve in the spoke would be good as it adds curve to the already more curvy kinda car. V40s are more retro muscle car to me. I love straight spoked ones, they just look tougher.

You can also option to go American racing wheels Torque thrust D's (D spoke like V45s but look tougher in my opinion)

Howdy,

I must take at least 16" rims for the brakes. Now when I have look through http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,6.0.html topic and I have seen those rims on Charger, thou that I was not able to find any photo of 3gen with those rims =) I think those rims will work just find.

Now I just have to now how much offset I need. And can anyone tell what is biggest tire wide what I can use?

Good thing is that Charger ain't ready for some time so no need to hurry with this. Hmm... not sure is that good thing... =)
