Akron_Charger

Hey everyone, Ive been lurking for awhile and finally decided to join in on the party! I picked up this numbers matching 74 Charger (except the Super Bee hood) in Barberton last summer and have fixed it up to the point where the body is solid and the car is pretty reliable (maybe more reliable than my 99 Monte Carlo but it is a Chevy... :D ) Anyways being a senior in Akron I havent had a lot of money to put into it the past year with all those college tuition things...but I do drive it quite a bit. Anyways, here it is

Well the plan right now is mostly to keep it running and finish school and to finish patching it up, I got the body pretty straight but it still needs new floor pans and the front valance but hopefully next year. Its interesting because it basically is a rallye car, but it has the standard dash. It even had the stripes which I happened to find while doing body work. Basically its a 74 Charger with a 400 and a 727 tranny and possi. It was originally silver but someone had tried to make an orange R/T or Super Bee replica out of it (hence the wing and hood) but from what I heard the guy that had it before me ended up in jail so who knows? I've been kicking around ideas but I'd like to keep it stock, but either paint it yellow, orange or sublime green but I havent decided yet. Long ways away. It is nice being close to Summit and my aunt works there so I get discounts (sometimes!)  :2thumbs:
