That's great Mike. Thanks for upholding the Mopar legacy an putting function before form. Don't get me wrong your car is awesome but to many; without a sparkling show car paint job, you just are not making a cover.

Again; great work and a beautiful car many of us hope to be able to achieve one day!

I'll be watching my mailbox for that one...

When did he change the name of the car?

Mr. Angry was a 68 Charger and Mr. Angrier was a 69 Daytona clone. What does he call the 68 now?  :shruggy:

He didn't. I'm pretty sure when they say "Meet Mr. Angry" they mean Mike. AFAIK, the '68 is still "Mr Angry" and the Daytona is still "Angrier".

The Daytona in my mind is definitely Angrier! Although the 68 was plenty Angry!

I've never seen that magazine in a Maine store.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Thanks Guys -

I can't tell ya' how much I appreciate the comments. This car took over two years of my life to complete and I'm glad to say that now it's a true turn key, beat it to death war horse just as the Charger is. It's amazing though, as the more I do with cars the more I find out that they actually have personalities... kinda' like kids. The Charger, all things considering was a pretty easy car to upgrade and keep on the road at all time. The Daytona however, man... did this car fight me and truly live up to the "ANGRIER" name.

I also want to thank everyone for helping me along the way with it, giving advice and just being positive as we did the build. In the end it came out just like I envisioned it and to get the cover "Hemmings" is really icing on the cake.

It's funny too... my screen name here is "NYCMille" as I joined this list before I even bought a Charger. At the time I was road racing an Aprilia RSV Mille 1000, thus the "NYCMille" - back then, there was no Charger, no MR. ANGRY and no Daytona. When I signed up I had 5 motorcycles in the garage and a pick-up to tote them around. Now with the Charger & Daytona and everything that's happened since, it's just really cool to know that DC.com has been such a major influence for me in the last 6 years of my life.

So thanks everyone for everything -

Cheers - Mike  :2thumbs:

.... now I just gotta' build something else...  :brickwall:

The logical choice is an all black 70 or 71 Cuda with a bad to the bone 6.1 and Keisler 5 speed or the new paddle shifted auto.
Oops..I was kind of thinking about doing that to either my 70 or 71.  :coolgleamA:
