Want to upgrade stock '71 318

Here's the low down,
   I have a completely stock 318 in my '71 charger ( 2bbl, 904 trans, 8.25 rear, 191,000 miles) .  I am interested in gaining some more power out of it.  I thinking of puting in a 4bbl new intake, along with headers and dual exhaust.  Am I looking in the wrong direction?  What do you guys recommend?

That will definitely help. Just remember it's only a 318. Also you rear end ratio is probably a 2.71, not something that will get you off the starting line in a hurry.
