Hello there, my name is Lennard and I live in Arizona. I moved over here from the Netherlands about 2,5 years ago.
I own two Chargers, one is a '68 and one is a '69 R/T. They both need restoration and are waiting until I have the $$ to do so.


Here is a short movie of one of my first rides after I got the '69 R/T... and don't worry, I had no neighbours at that time.(snowbirds)

Thank you for the warm welcome guys! My brother in law infected me with the classic American car virus and second gen. Chargers in particular.
He has quite a Mopar collection... here are two of them, both R/T clones and the '69 has a 1969 426 Hemi in it and a Dana 60 rear axle.

We in the USA (hell, it's probably universal) have a saying: does she have a sister? Never thought we would be asking: does he have a brother (in-law)? And do you ever.!!!

@SG1022: The wheels on the '69 are 15x8 and 15x12 Centerline Convo Pro's with 225/50-15 and 345/35-15 tires.
@skip68: I've been to all of them so far. :icon_smile_cool:

Wow, I love that '68....those are the exact wheels I'm getting my for '69 (as you can see per the Photoshop in my signature). There's a whole group of us going to the MATS. Check out the Upcoming Events section for the thread about it :2thumbs:

What kind of backspacing do you have on your rear wheels, and do they rub?

I have no idea what the backspacing of the wheels are, they were on the Charger when i bought it.
They only rub when I take a sharp turn at a higher rate of speed. Here's a pic with Vectors underneath it:

You're welcome.  This is what I have in mind for my '68 but with lots of fiberglass, the Centerlines and the 440(without tunnelram) from my '69:

And the '69 R/T is going to be restored close to original but will receive a 426 Hemi and 8,5x15 and 10x15 Vectors, the 440 in it is from the early Seventies.

Sounds like some kick ass plans

I am trying to find a wheel tire combo for my 3rd gen

I like the look of Cragar S/S's, but havent been able to find some decently priced ones above 15x7 wide... lookin for something wider on the back  :vert:

How much experience do you have working on cars, out of curiosity?

@SG1022: I have a little bit experience working on cars. I was a mechanic for about 5 years (after I graduated Highschool) and after that I worked in my spare time at my brother in laws body shop where I restored/customized my '80 Corvette body off and helped him out when it was busy.
@69bronzeT5: The '68 was some sort of Green/Blue metallic and the '69 was Butternut Yellow.
