You really really really need Santa to bring you a Factory Service Manual. I promise you it is the best thing ever....I got mine 14 years ago and just looking at these posts I can tell you don't have one. If your like me you will "read it" like the coolest book ever!   :yesnod:

I have a FSM then, that's one of the first things I bought for it.

He says he has one.   :shruggy:

Huh... :scratchchin: But all this info is in there for my 70 in it's book? Hey Young Guns you have a FACTORY book or just "Hayes" or "Chilton" type? I know it's tough when you didn't take it apart to figure out what's what.

That's exactly why I wouldn't buy a Charger that has been already been stripped by someone else, no matter how good of a deal it is. Takes years to piece back together.

1969 DODGE service manuel
cornet, charger, wagons, charger r/t, ect

From what I remmeber off the cover, I look through it but it's not a part map, it's for trouble shooting and taking apart an putting together, not finding where it goes, or that my tank mounts are upside down, ect.

miller time

Does a part map exist for these cars???
And no I dont mean a service manuel unless there's a section I missed..... :shruggy:

I think they do....I have one upstairs for my Coronet but I can't figure out the wording of the manual name for some reason....

I agree. The very first thing I bought after I got my Charger, was a re-print of the FSM. You can buy them on CD now for your computer and just print off the pages you need.

I HAVE ONE

Since noone will tell me how to run the brake lines, I'll guess.
Will anyone tell me where to put the new fuse box?
Don't say where the old one was because there wasn't an old one.

TUFCAT

I don't have a Charger so I can't help you.

I didn't realize that you only have a rolling shell (called a "body-in-white" at the plant). Although they weren't rollers....they only rolled on fixtures down the line.

If I did put a "kittty-cam" on TUFCAT - he'd be looking up skirts.....not underneath Chargers!  ha ha :icon_smile_wink:

UFO

Fuse box is attached to the large tab(uses a phillips head screw) in where the glove box goes.

My cowl, that is removed, needs to be put back on odviously, I have this badass panel bond, $90 a tube, from a truck dealer, they use it on everything, the used to on a piece of srap metal, they made a loop and hooked it on a frame puller, i strained the puller and whenit finally tore it tore in th midde of the metal, nowhere near the bonded spot, I have most of the tube, it would make everything easier to just bond it together, not factory, better, I would just bondo the holes from the welds or fill them, we can get it right just want to know yalls input.
I sent Bronze some more pictures, so when he has has time yall can see the stacks I bonded on. They came out great and wont budge.
I just put on 2 new SkyJacker Hydro 7000 shocs on the rear end, the ones for 4x4s, tough, stiff, but giving, all around good.
Thanks yall :2thumbs:
