G-man

I was thinking the same stuff previously.

Was gonna call my 68 Balrog (JR tolkiens fire breathing demon from lord of the rings = BALROG) since hte car looks mean and powerfull the name worked for me...

However... after a while... no matter what u 'call' its still an Awesome charger.

So - Charger it is.

Names kinda wear off.

I vote - leave it charger.

Topher

My car's been called "The Dawg" since day one, almost 20 years ago.

I have never named a car. I sometimes refer to a car by who use to own it.

This is "Sybil" because she has multiple personalities. She is solid and dependable one moment, and a wild hellion the next.

Id like to name mine, it just has not earned one yet. Im sure it will in time, just too early along in the build for that. I finally named my dakota a few months ago after having it for 6 years. I call it Monster, both because its big and powerful, also because its sort of like Frankenstien's Monster. I built it with parts from all over (96 Dakota body and frame, 05 Ram motor and trans, 84 jeep transfer case, 78 F-250 front axle, 79 bronco rear axle, misc stuff in between)
96 Dakota, custom everything 4x4, 5.7 HEMI

Remember the average response time to a 911 call is over 4 minutes.

The average response time of a 357 magnum is 1400 FPS.

Since I bought my Charger in Las Vegas and stayed with the Skips for a couple of months, Mrs Skip called her Lola.
So from then on she became Lola 'the showgirl'  :icon_smile_big:

I was thinking about calling my '71 the "Imperial Star Destroyer" but decided against it because the car is way too curvaceous for that name.

I'd like to name it, but can't think of something that's kinda 'axe-murderer-ish' and yet is still catchy.  :smilielol:

Nope, never have. Named cars, even major projects from big builders, remind me too much of cheesy 70's drag cars with "Desperado" painted across the quarters.
