OK, I get the 8,500 miles has some value, unless it has been at a 1/4 mile at a time, but where are they getting the rest of the $920,000 from  :scratchchin:

They have been having some weird stuff pop up. Here is some guy claiming he believes he has the first mustang made/sold etc. with serial number 100212. He only wants $5,500,000 for his car. Imagine how much he would want for the car if he could actually prove it!

QuoteWe are open to offers but please remember that the car is appraised at 4 Million.

Who is doing the appraisels on these?  I'm guessing someone who appraises artwork too... The more you pay your appraiser the more your stuff is worth I'd imagine.

I was under the impression she only co-owned it since the preservation process started.

If anyone wants to, send me $10 and I will appraise your car for you. :) Just tell me the vin and what you want it to be worth and I will send you out an appraisal slip. :)

Million dollar car with a 2 dollar auction.

Sure, the pix are big, but some of those especially the undercarriage shots, absolutely suck!  :Twocents:

RCKSTR

Theres actually 3 made in that color, one of the members on here has it for sale, its a hemi car as well...Its in the "realistic" price range,

Too bad they didn't get a professional picture taker for better & non-fuzzy pics

asking and getting, are 2 very different realities.

He's using ebay for exactly what it is , a cheap advertising tool

Even when it was top dollar for any high end Hemi car, I doubt this car was ever worth 4mil

I had heard they were offered 1mil for it years ago and turned it down

Ghoste

Since he has been offering it for sale for some months now, I tend to agree with Bill.

TeeWJay426

I figured it had to be the Bloomington ghost as well. Maybe if I hit the lottery.....

Heck, I wonder if Cora is even alive anymore? She'd have to be well into her eighties by now. Keith isn't exactly a kid himself. Good luck in this economy.

Hope there is 900k in the glove compartment.  ::)

Ghoste

Frankly, whoever appraised it for 4 million should have his appraisers qualifications yanked. (even if it was done in 2007)

ChgrSteve67

1 Mill is the starting bid with a reserve on the auction.

I'm willing to bet the reserve is around the 4 Mill price tag.

People can always dream.

Ghoste

Yeah they can, but you know Keith always seemed to me like someone that was connected enough with the hobby to know better.  :shruggy:

Daytona R/T SE

I think it WAS worth a million....

Up to the point that the outward dent in the hood appeared...

It was all downhill after that...

It's damaged goods now...  :smilielol:

Frankies price just went up some more! I love it!

When I talked to Dean couple years ago there was only one known to exist.  IIRC, he thought it was comical no one knew about his.  I think he has one or two other real hemi cars.  :shruggy:
