Got word of the selling of a 68 or 69 Road Runner Monday (don't remember what year  :brickwall:), I'm gonna go look at it today when I get home from school.  Could you guys help me determine the value of it? I'll post pictures when I get back from looking at it. He is asking $9k

And I know its not a Charger, and in order to buy the Road Runner I would have to sell my 73 parts Charger and 74 Project Charger...You guys have first dibs on them if I decide to buy...

Definitely pics but if it's decent 9k is a bargain.  My second favorite b body in the world.  69 RR, I've owned a few and I want another one.
I'd have no hesitation giving up those 3rd gens for a 69 RR if it's decent.   :Twocents:

Very nice. I would want to know much more about the condition of the driveline to justify 9k.

Also, rust freaks me out, so I would examine that rust with an expert. Clearly though, it is ready to be taken to the next level. Execellent foundation stock as they say :icon_smile_cool:

I'm out. I don't like 70's too much.  I have little opinion at this point on the 9k except strictly for flip criteria....and it looks like you wouldn't lose any money due to to the options.  In other words is it worth more than 9k right now as it sits and I don't know that answer.  I defer to the experts. ;D

$9K is a no brainer if it has a motor and the frame rails check out.

Looks almost exactly like a B7 blue one I could've bought years ago for $4,500 except it was an automatic and rustier. I still kick myself for not buying that car when I had the chance. It was ALL original, except for the mice!

Very nice looking Road Runner and awesome options. Like others said, I'd try and talk him down some - cash in hand - but snag it up if the underside looks as good as what's up top.

Well thanks for the advice everybody! Me and my Dad are going to go look at it tomorrow afternoon. We are gonna take a nice and good look at the underside. I'll have some cash money in hand, and I'm really hoping to share some good news with yunz.

Made a mistake before saying that it is a heater delete, thats a my bad.

Take a couple magnets with you, I just noticed there seems to be some "depth" to the paint at the rear window rust spots.

I can't really say anything that's new here - but yes, it's a '70 and that is my favorite year for RRs also. If the steel is decent. BUY IT. It is SUCH A COOL CAR!

Skinypete

Well the guy was busy today so I couldn't go down and take a really good look at it with my dad. We set up a time for Saturday afternoon, I'll have cash money for a down payment (keeping my fingers crossed).

This is terrible, I'm sitting here like a kid in a candy shop who is not allowed to have a sample...
