Yes, but the game came with a free voucher to download 10 cars and a set of several test tracks, so if you bought the game, you should have them.  If you just rented it, you're screwed though.

My current stable (aside from the Barracuda and Daytona).  Most of these just have the paint.  Only the GTA, WS6, and the Challenger have any significant mods right now.

Cool, thanks! I think I'm going to trade in Forza 2 and two other games and get Forza 3 next week. I get most of my games locally here at a Game Crazy store. And they buy and sell new and used games and stuff. I am not hooked up online for the X-box360 though. Might have to figure it out just to get the Daytona though.  :yesnod:

Press the middle button (power button on the controller), scroll all the way to the left to the "Xbox Live Marketplace" tab.  You should see a "redeem code" option.  Select that, type the code in, and you'll recieve the option to download the cars/tracks.

What's your gamertag, and would you be interested in racing with other people using just American muscle cars?  If so, go here, and register.  It's my racing league.

I got this game last week.It's great.I think I'm at level 47 with season 5 underway. I don't have the Daytona yet, but I do have $3,000,000 so maybe I should buy it...HA. I love the Lamborghini Reventon...Damn it's fast...

One thing for sure, I'm not overly impressed with the game graphics. I have the games G.R.I.D. and Shift too, and the graphics are way better in those games. Even my 14yo agrees. I love the variety of cars though.

What level of "hardness" are you doing the game on? I'm doing it on medium. I got my '99 Saleen Mustang totally maxed out now, and I been using that and the Corvette Grand Sport to cream the Fields cause it handles super well. I do own a '69 Charger too now, but it is still totally stock. There is a way you can do the races at random with out doing them in the order of the season callender. I have done all the rear wheel drive races and muscle car races already at random. I still havent messed with the graphics yet other then the basic paint jobs. I haven't messed with how to create your own graphic set yet either. I assume that's what you use on your cars?

Yes, I use the graphics creator for my cars.  And I race on medium right now.  Eventually, I'll bump it up to hard.

What do you mean by "random"?  Season play has the class championship series every 2 weeks, and gives you a choice from 3 smaller series races every 2 weeks, based on what you like to drive.

Instead of choosing Season play, choose Event List.  That will show you all the races that you can race at your current level.  Gray means locked, blue means unlocked, green means unlocked and your current car qualifies, and checkmark means you've already done that race.

Yea, I'm talking about the event list. I jump all over in that to make money. I got a Ford GT today and got it most of the way suped up. I got it to 215 tonight on the ovel tracks. Also got the '73 T/A tonight too.

I finally bought the Daytona last night. That thing is fast right out of the box. Right now, I have it red with the black stripe, with torque thrust mags, and wider tires. Would love to make it black with a red tail stripe, but I can't figure out how to change the tail stripe colors on cars that have them.  :shruggy:

Damn...that game looks sick. Too bad I can't afford to buy an XBOX right now. Guess I'll just have to wait til the full GT5 comes out on PS3. If it's anything like it's predecessors, it's going to blow the doors off every other racing game out there (you gotta admit...all of the GT games have consistently been the best at the time they've come out).

The Daytona only comes with the black or the white stripe.  No red stripe on the game.  You'd have to make one out of the graphics creator to get a red stripe.

Hey, ghost, what is your online name so I can add you as a friend? Mine is truckdriver1964? I been racing online doing mostly oval track races. A few circuit races too. But I don't do well at most of the tracks that everyone else wants to do, lol. I don't have voice though.

AH! that was my oldest son you were playing Call Of Duty 4 with, not me. My boys use my profile too for now. I only been playing Forza 3 on the oval tracks for now. I got my own custom painted Chevy stock car (purple #07) to use.
