Zakk Wylde no longer with Ozzy?

I've been hearing rumors going around that Zakk is no longer playing with Ozzy because of Black Label Society's touring schedule and because Ozzy thinks his songs sound a lot like BLS'. Nothing on Ozzy's site mentions Zakk no longer playing with Ozzy's band but on Wikipedia, Zakk is now in the "Former Guitarists" section. I really hope this isn't true. If it is, I'm glad I saw Ozzy and Zakk together back in October 2008. That was an awesome show. Apperentley a new guitarist named "Gus G." is supposed to replace Zakk. There are videos around the Internet showing Ozzy and Gus playing live at Blizzcon 2009 but I was just thinking it was because Zakk is in the hospital with blood clots. However, others say different. What do you Ozzy fans think?

I'm thinking I'm glad I got to See Ozzy with Randy Rhoads just before it was to late. LEON.

I've been hearing the same kind of stuff on the local radio stations.  Got to see the Prince of Darkness and Zakk myself. He is listed as you say former and wiki lists no lead.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ozzy_osbourne
Ozzy has been auditioning guitarists for a little bit now, seen it on other sites.  There is a guy by the name of Jason S up in Halifax that is pretty darn good. He seemed to have the stamina as I saw in his video.

Who do you think can handle the load?
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I'd much like to see Zakk continue with Ozzy. IMO, Zakk was the best replacement for Randy. Jake wasn't that bad and wrote some cool stuff with Ozzy but I've always liked Zakk more.

I agree Codester but we might not have that option right now.  Hard to replace his greatness.  From what I'm hearing, it's a falling out.  Ozzy is starting to get up there in age and Zakk is still in his prime. I'm sure Zakk will come to his senses eventually and realize that, without Ozzy, his success might not have been realized. I smell a reunion tour in about 3 years.  :icon_smile_big:

I use my "Black Label Society" station on Pandora all the time.

Here's your chance Cody.  Quit telling other's about the opening, makes for more competition.   ;)

Well, I can play "I Don't Know", "Crazy Train", "Mama I'm Coming Home", "Paranoid", "Suicide Solution" and a few others... :scratchchin:

Safe to say Ozzy picked Zakk of all his riffs...again and is moving on to new blood.

Zack is in fact no longer in Ozzy's band.  Ozzy is recording right now with a bunch of different people.  Gus G did some shows with him and may end up being the guy, but that's not for sure.
