Ghoste

Yeah, they always have day passes at the gate.

Charger_Fan

Hey, will you guys take a group pic if you can, like the Carlisle pic?

Sometimes this country seems so big...all the Mopar shows at practically the same time, across the country.

Come to think of it, that's pretty friggin' cool!! :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Gilbert Charger

I seen you there last year Ying, but I didnt know it was you. I was looking for a 4' Chinese dude instead of a 7' white dude. Try to catch you there this year.

Shouldnt we all pick a time and spot at the Nats to meet on Saturday?

Nice car.   Make sure to tell everybody that doesn't like your big meats out back to take a flying leap.   I've seen way too many people on this board pick on them in the past.   My thought is they can put smaller rubber on the car when they buy the car from you.  I' m sure that will never happen.

Oh yeah, I'll be at the Nats if they ever move it back to Indy.

So whats the deal??  IS anyone getting together??  I found 4 NATS thread but not much organization on a meeting??  Anyone going to Brice Rd Friday Night??  Does this site have anywhere at the show where everyone is parking??  What about at Brice RD??   :shruggy:

Troy where are you staying??  What days are you going?  I just booked a hotel but on the west side of Columbus . . . only $69 bucks a night though!     Nice place!

Anyone have any ideas??  I read something about Hooters on Friday??   :icon_smile_big:
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

Troy

I was planning on just staying at home and driving there every day... :P

However, if I can get a room cheap near you then maybe I'd finally get a ride in that Cuda! I've been too swamped to try to organize anything (and I'm not so good at that any way). I don't think there's a set place for everyone to park either. We could use your organizational skills around this place... :D

I'll be there Friday and Saturday for sure and possibly part of Sunday. It'd be cool to have a gathering each day in case some people miss it the first time or if they only go one day (unlike the Carlisle meet where we missed a few members). I had planned on finding Ghoste's and moparjohn's cars and then looking for others. I had hoped to have some stickers or dash cards to put out but I've run out of time to get anything printed. Dinner, cookouts, and cruising on Brice sounds like a lot of fun as I usually have to rush home in the afternoons... but not this year! So, what do you guys think? Anyone know a good landmark to meet at?

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Black and Blown

The Mrs. and I will head down Friday morning for our first one.   We'll be there all day.   Regretfully, we won't be taking the mighty Charger.   Not quite ready for 2 hours on the highway.

4cruzin

Well if you're gonna have a meeting, you need a place thats not so popular that you can't tell where the members are.  I was thinking meet on the judging side of the show by the charger area.  Be some cool cars too look at while talking!!

Troy . . . If I do end up coming by myself, I have a double bed room.  Plus they still have rooms available according to the website at 69 bucks a night.  You're welcome to hang out with me if ya like!  Sorry I don't have a cool charger to ride around in . . .you'll just have to settle for a little old cuda.   lol

As for nightly activities, I'm open for suggestions.  Usually the police put a damper on Brice rd pretty early so I like to get there at a reasonable hour and enjoy while ya can!  Then to the BAR!!  lol

I thought the Nats was last weekend.  ::)  Oh well, couldn't have gone anyway, my wallet is still recovering from from Carlisle.

Charged

I made it there a couple years ago, back when I had money. But each year around this time for the last couple years, Ive wound up losing my job and so help me God if it dident happen again this year! So now I have $400 to my name, no job, and in a couple days, a pick-up truck to live out of while on the streets of Chicago untill I can afford a place to stay and food to eat. So while my "house" is parked at some damn 7-Eleven and Im walking to the shelter for some kinda handout to eat, probably canned beef-stew...I hope you bastards (joking with the name calling) have a good time.  ;D

Charged

P.S. And Im not selling the Charger for cash either. To go threw this a couple weeks is temporary Hell, but to sell that car is permanent.

Ghoste

Charged, I hope you are back on your feet fast.  Like already right now fast.
As to meeting, 471 Magnum and I will probably do the same routine and that will be to park on the hill and bench race while everyone else leaves.
There is a main pit entrance and I am usually parked someplace between that pit entrance and the swap meet area.  At the end of the day, I try to move closer to the actual entrance and set up the lawn chairs at the top of the hill overlooking the road going in and out and just watch the cars.  Saturday afternoon we usually get a little bbq going around 3 or 4pm.
My car is a copper colored 67 with a white vinyl top.  You are not going to see many 1st gen Chargers with a vinyl top so it stands out pretty good.

ying

look for me, my friend from Dayton will have a shaved ice truck there at the burger king friday and saturday night so look for me close to that these f*$kin gas prices are going to suck for the towing up from Atlanta though!!!!

I should be able to make it for at least 1 day. Probably Sat!

hemigeno

As it stands right now, I'm going to be there Fri & Sat.  It will be hard to miss what I'll be driving.  :P

If they let me, I'm planning on parking in the Fun Field area as close to the Swap meet as I can get.

I just found out last night i'll be going....a local guy is leaving at 0800 thursday am and i'm catching a ride   :musik010:....i'm coming off shift at 0700. Talk about cutting it close. I'll be hooking up with R2 who's driving up from Kentucky. We'll check out the Charger area for some familiar cars. Have a safe drive getting there.   ;)
