so is there a time & place we are meeting up in Vegas ??

Probably at MATS on Friday.  :slap:  Skip will have a canopy "somewhere" there with the DodgeCharger logo on it. He just has to tell us where exactly and what time. Based upon last year probably a time close to lunch would be good to try to get together. I'm sure we'll have a location and time agreed upon by the start of next week.

What about you?   :scratchchin:       Sorry, just having a bit of fun. Can't tell I'm excited, can you? Probably the same time and place all three days. Don't forget there is an open invitation to VegasMikes home after the day's festivities. More details to come, I'm certain from the home town boys. Sure to be lots of fun. Should be one for the books....

From what I understand we are "probably" going to set the tent and banner up somewhere in the racing/pits area. Need to find out when Mike's race times are, because I have to photograph, and video......so i'll probably be at the top of the walkway going to the stands. Just look for me (Lisa), A.K.A "Mrs.Skip68" and "Dans68" in his silly hat!!!  :nana: :nana: :hah: Just kidding Dan!  :pity:  BTW: I'm bringing your shirts for you!  :yesnod:

More info will be coming, I'm sure!

So I'm looking through an issue of Mopar Muscle here and they have a schedule. It says at 8:30am the gates open for 'all others'? :shruggy: Then on Saturday it says it opens at 6am for 'all show participants'. I'm confused here.....when exactly can spectators go into the show? Same time the cars can? Also, it says Gate A is for spectators and it says 'This will be the only entry point for listed attendees'. Lisa you mentioned about entering the Hollywood Gate? So if I go with Dan on Friday morning in his '68 I can enter and purchase my weekend pass at the Hollywood Gate?

They have this posted on the web site for entrance information.

CAR SHOW, FUN FIELD, and AUCTION PARTICIPANTS:
Hollywood Gate will open at 7 a.m. for parking. All Car Show and Auction participants will enter on the Loop Road that leads to the Hollywood Gate. The Hollywood Gate is the first gate that you will come to. Drive slowly as you pass the Petro Fuel Stop on the main road to LVMS. The Hollywood Gate will be on your left. This is an all paved road to the show area.

Show your credentials at the tent at the gate and proceed to the Car Show, Fun Field, or Auction area for parking instructions and check-in. You must show your confirmation letter at the Car Show tent to get your goodie bag and receive any last minute judging information.

For those of us displaying in the FUN FIELD is there a time a place you want to meet so we can go in and park together?
Say maybe 6:45 or 7AM or 7:15AM at the PETRO Station?  I don't know how early this group like to get up.

How about at the Nellis Suites Hotel? http://www.nellissuites.com/ Steve and I will be staying there, and it is close by the track (5 to 6 miles). I'm good for a 7:00 am departure. And I'm sure we will all talk more between now and Friday morning.  :P

I guess we will need to figure in breakfast as well.

I wonder if Nellis Suites does a Continental breakfast?
