That's what I'm trying to figure out. If I'll have to get out and go to the main walk through gate. Any idea what time the main gate opens for spectators? 7am?

I do believe it is 7:00 am also (I have not seen anything different). As a fun field participant I'm entering the Hollywood gate, but I'll drop you off if I give you a lift.

Are you planning on sitting?  There will be too much to do, and the only sitting (I will do) will be at the on-site eateries or in the stands watching the drags. There will be too much to do. But, in the interest in keeping our young charge comfortable I will bring an extra folding chair.  :2thumbs:

Cody,
As I am the passenger in our car I will be buying my ticket at the Hollywood gate. I did the same last year. Actually we have to get the cars' ticket there too! Don't worry, we'll show you where it is! (If for some reason you get lost, look for the golf cart rental station! It's right there!)  :2thumbs:

Mrs.Skip68 ;)

P.S. To everybody : We may be having almost 80 degree weather, but it gets very windy on the East side in the afternoon! Bring sunscreen, and at least a windbreaker!  :Twocents:

Every year that I have been to the show I have tried to set a time for all to meet up at the show. I have found that it is VERY difficult due to when people are arriving and when they are racing and so on... A few years back they had a bar set up under the bleachers and we tried to get everyone to meet there. We told the waitress who we were and if anyone asked to point us out.. That worked for a few people, but for the most part most were milling around seeing the cars, racing and buying parts.

VegasMike and I spend much of our time looking for parts and watching the races. This year he will be racing his ALL BLACK 65' Coronet 500.... I think the best I can tell you is to look for Mikes BLACK 65' Coronet 500 and his RED/Black top 68' Charger. We are both well over 6 foot tall and will probably be drinking Buds..  hahaha... Well, after he races anyway.. lol...  :D

What do you have left to do Steve? I know the feeling of not having a car ready for a show. The day before a show back in June I was rushing to put the front fender trim on my Duster and cleaning it and putting a new valve cover gasket on it.

Isn't there going to be a tent with the DC.com banner on it? We should all try to meet up at a certain time to get a group picture. I'm free all day Friday and Saturday. At 9am though on Friday (and possibly Saturday) I'll be at the Hotchkis test participating in their autocross challenge (they are giving demo rides). I might not go on Sunday to the show but we'll see.
