Hey Chuck & Lisa,
Starting to think about booking my plane tickets for the MATS. What would be the best way to get from the airport to your guys place? I believe Westjet flies into McCarran International Airport....is that the main airport in Vegas?

I guess we'll bring the General Lee to pick you up.   :rotz:    You won't be the first to be picked up there or dropped of there in the GL.  I've had my Genny Lee at the airport several times.    ;)

Has anyone sent in thier registration yet?

Lennard

Does anybody know if there will be a AMD vendor at M.A.T.S.?  I need a trunkfloor, hood and more for my '69 Charger.

That would be great. That way I can buy stuff there and ship it for way cheaper! I'm going to contact them to see :)

There were plenty of sheet metal venders there last year.. Plenty of stuff for 68/69 charger. I should say a complete car....

Lennard

Most of the sheetmetal i saw last year was for e-bodies and was from (i think) Goodmark.

skip68

I remember fenders, hoods, trunk pans, full quarters, floor pans, door skins and even new roofs.    All for 68-70 Chargers.    :yesnod:   I think it was AMD.    :2thumbs:

According to AMD, they don't sell directly at shows but they say Stephan's Performance will be there and they sell AMD parts.

I hope you guys are right.
I will bring my pick up and trailer in case they have the stuff i need.

Edit: I checked Stephens website and it says: "The list of the 2010 shows will be posted at the first of the new year." but there is nothing there so i send them an email.

vegasmike

Then you missed the main tent, Lennard.... There was even a 69 charger sitting there.....

Lennard

I was only there on Sunday because of work so maybe the stuff was already packed?
Anyway, i got a swift reply from Stephan's Performance that says that they will be at Mopars at the Strip again.  Taking orderstill no later then mid february so they can have them ready in Vegas for pick up. I already have my order in. :2thumbs:

Ok folks.  Since times are not so good with the economy, we are not going to be able to camp at the track during M.A.T.S....   :rotz:   BUT ! ! ! We have a new plan that will still be fun.

Every year it seems that VegasMike's place has become more and more of an attraction.  (With the fine dinning, good music and lots of laughs)
We have decided to keep the tradition going so here is the plan....

: On the first day of the show we will have a place to meet in the show.  We are going to have a BBQ set up under a canopy for lunch every day.  Bring Meat and we'll cook it up for you as we can't feed the world... ;)
We will also have flyers of a map to get to "VegasMikes Place Inc."

: Every night we will be at VegasMikes for a BBQ dinner, pictures, car talk and laughs. This will be loads of fun as we are going to have a few members there dial in my carb.   Right Ron ?   :icon_smile_wink:

: For any members that are flying in or just any of you that fear you won't find us to get the map to VegasMikes but you want to go, you can send me a P.M. and we will make sure that you get a phone number to call us for the address.    :2thumbs:

: I still wish we could be camping at the track but look at it this way.... You will still have a great time because you will get to meet the skip's, VegasMike, coco Cody and many others...  ;)
