Texas Charger

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum, but I just bought a 1971 Charger SE. My dad has a 71 R/T, and I have loved that car since we got it over 10 years ago. I'm 19, and am currently a Midshipman at the U.S. Naval Academy, so I wont be able to work on the car until Christmas, but I have a bunch of questions for y'all, so I'll probably be posting a ton. Here is a picture of the Charger  :icon_smile_big:

If you feel like a road trip out to Frederick in November, I'll be home from Iraq for a few weeks and you can have a ride in my '71 SE.

Hey Texas,

Welcome to the site! Nice car and great color. I'm former Navy so if any mopar is "squid blue" or any shade thereof I'm a fan. How long before you pin on your butter bar?
Bring on the questions too.

Thanks for all the compliments! I'm actually just starting out as a Plebe this year at the Academy, so it'll be awhile still.

Welcome to the party!!!   That car looks pretty clean!!  I'm down here in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Stay the course buddy. The day you get that gold bar and dress whites will be like no other. Enjoy each day, every run, every push-up, every test and every drill. You've got brothers out here.
