If you could go back in time and order your (insert favorite year here) Charger new, would you pick a standard interior like white or black because they go with everything?  Or would opt for a colored interior that complements the exterior paint like blue inside with blue outside?  Or would you have picked something really different like one of the two tones or even try to insist on something the salesman claimed couldn't be done?

Really? I have that combination - minus the stripe.

I'm partial to black or white interiors. I'm just not a fan of blue cars with blue interiors or green cars with green interiors. Perhaps one of the colored interiors with a non-matching exterior? I've seen white cars with blue or green interiors and they look pretty cool.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Black, Red or some brownish exterior ( Copper or kinda off ) with SUNBURNST interior will be something in to my thoughts. Dunno really I I would go but I think is a nice option.

However one of my fav interiors color is Tan/Gold

Blue interiors are nice, but just in to white or blue exteriors... mainly in blue exterior ( like my car it was )

two tones interiors where available down here, mainly black plastics and moldings with red vinyl parts. A friend of mine has a 71 with black plastics and moldings with somekind burnt gold on vinyl parts, LOOKS WILD

As I recollect in '68 A/C was not available on an R/T with a 4-speed, or any HEMI configured drivetrain. Are you sure?  :scratchchin: :popcrn:

My choice - I would have ordered a '68 Hemi 4-speed, all black, stripe delete, power disc brakes, no console, power windows, performance axle package, head restraints, front and rear shoulder belts, tachometer, tinted glass all around, left remote and right manual mirrors, rear window defogger, radio with tape deck, wood grain steering wheel and locking gas cap.  :yesnod:

not AC on Hemis ( auto or stick ) simply because there is not room for RV2 Compressor due the carbs and air cleaner size
