I am installing an addco rear sway bar in my 73 Charger and it doesn't fit right with the provided hardware. I have the wheels off and jack stands under the axle at normal ride height. My problem is that the middle links do not meet up to the frame, they are too far away and if I raise it to get close enough the end links hit the axle. Has anybody else installed one of these. This will be the last Addco product I ever buy I had a similar problem with their front sway bar.

This is with the shorter bolts they supply, I can't even get it close to the frame

This is with the longer bolts and spacer, I cant even get all the bushings in because the bar hits the frame and rearend.

more then ten yrs ago i bought both their front and rears for my R/T I bought the biggest diam. they had listed and though the rear one fit fine - the front one didn't match up at all it was like two inches off so i sent it back and got a refund, I got another one later from an r/t car and used it in front.
I don't know if the third gens measurements/parts are the same as the sec. gens just thought i'd chime in with my exp.  :shruggy:

wrong...

that metal strip/bracket is to be attached somehow to some home made bracket I think, but the isolator NEEDS to be attached to frame rail

A guy who I know got same sway bar, ended attaching that metal stripe/bracket to a pipe bracket bolt attached to axle housing

I have addco bars on my 73. They dont fit like the stock bars. Work well.

I bought mine on ebay, they sent the wrong rear one. They have one bar for cars that had a rear bar stock and a differrent bar for an add on.

Mine was an add on.

I talked to John  at their tech line and he got me squared away, swapped rear kits.
