KN filter to replace stock 13 inch

I have a repo air cleaner on my 69 440 and wonder if its worth the 48 bucks?

I like mine but there are likely as many people don't like them as do.  I've had it on the car about ten years now but for the amount of driving I do in a year, 48 bucks will buy a lot of paper filters.

You can get them cheaper on ebay....

In my case, with the drop base lower housing & the top of the air cleaner close to the carb air horn, I need all the air flow I can get
