Yep, that's Mike and that looks to be the Silver State Challenge but it could be one of the other events. Open road racing is pure awesomeness. Videos like this is exactly why I'm gonna build my Coronet for open road racing. :coolgleamA:

That was only about 4 miles from the start line. I was still warming up the car and checking gauges, etc. so I was only going about 120. Later in the course I had one stretch where I ran 150 for several minutes, and another after the series of tight turns where I ran at 155 for about 5 minutes through some long straights an sweeping turns. The 135 is in reference to my overall average speed on the course. It was tough competition.... after 90 miles of this I was only 6/10ths of a second off my time and it was only good for 5th. Sue had fun though, and that's what it's all about.

 this post reminds me of the posts where guys with beater 318s talk about how their dad or friend or themselves had their chargers 150 MPH speedo pegged and they still had more peddle travel left...  :smilielol:
