Hi Nacho-RT74,

I've done a lot of reading here on the website and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, so I thought I'd ask you what you might have to say.

I'm trying to install a complete rear sway bar setup on a 72 8' 3/4" axle that I have installed on a 73 Charger. There were holes in the frame rails for the front mount brackets, I installed the brackets there, installed the spring plates on the axle and springs and when I tried to hook up the links to the bar itself, the bar is too far forward and the angle of the links are not right and can't be hooked up. Could the forward mounts be in the wrong place, could I have the wrong sway bar? Are there different size sway bars that might fit? Any help would be very nice :yesnod:

Hope you can help,
Steve

I got same doubt about... LOONG TIME AGO:

are you mounting with shocks in place and car on floor ? or raised ?

At the end, made to fit... But if you ask me still looks some wrong. Rod isolators get broken frequently cause the angle

Hi Nacho-RT74,

Thanks  for the info, I am going out right now to look at the sway bar and the frame rail mounts. I really want this thing to work some how. I don't like the after market sway bar look, its just not the look I'm going for. Thanks again for your help

I simply fit brackets on stock and existing holes locations at frame rails.

Made to fit once shocks were in place and car at floor. One thing is true, The EXISTING made in Venezuela springs curvature is if you ask me and in my opinion, bigger than it should be. So being CURVATURE what affects the ride height, if you have a HIGH rear ride height, sway bar rods will be affected. Recently fit an spacer block ( 1" ) and fits better.
