68-69 map pocket trim

I've seen the little chrome square buttons advertised from the repro supply houses for years and years but until this summer I had never actually seen any in a car.  I don't even know if they were original.  Has anyone seen them in a car?  Were they original or added after the fact?

I Can tell you that my 68 is a one-owner car with original unrestored door panels - they are original and they are chrome.  I just went out to the garage to double check.

I had to say that I had no idea what you are talking about. The map pockets on the door panels? When I took the remainder of what I think are my originals off I didn't notice anything like this. Could anyone enlighten me with a picture maybe?

only a few on unrestored 68s ....  &  only on the  69 in the dealer brochure .... difficult to know once the car has been restored , as they make repops , so any one can fit them

I had kind of thought it was a 68 only thing, it was partly what drove the question.  So good of a first class restoration supply retailer to advertise them as being for both 68 AND 69.
