well i think half the prob is I am 26, so I got mine by doubling my class load and dont have a work history for the last 5 years because i was busy killing myself (graduated with a 3.96) and now employers are like...psssh, and im like its not laziness, it was harder than whatever little job ever will be.

just sucks, you kill yourself and then graduate right in time to watch all the companies go under *shrug* just my luck i guess.  when the market gets strong again I am sure I will be glad I did it though.

Mr. Beware: since you are energetic, and all the companies are "going under", how about starting a business? Sounds like the world isn't seeing what you have to offer, so you should take the risk and launch your own enterprise, whatever that may be.

Turn that talent and passion into your own personal success. The corporate world isn't where satisfaction happens.  :Twocents:

believe it or not, tried, got tied into a bad contract, and now im kinda muffled, I did well enough to get the attention of some big boys, and they unethically screwed me.  so for the next 4 years or so, I am day jobbing it and biding my time.  However, I am always looking for a good hustle, so if I see an opening somewhere I am gonna take it (provided nobody gets screwed),  but yeah I totally agree, hell I was actually trying to get some body shops to let me help just so I could learn more about body work, but yeah, no takers on free labor, how sad is that?

Holy crap a month in and I am getting my butt kicked, I forgot how stupid I really am, Algebra is totally killing me, I have no clue about that stuff, plus the working full time and going to college is really catching up with me, I have been trying to get in the groove but I am still struggling with it, I have been thinking that this wasn't such a good idea, but its a little late for regrets, so I will keep trying to find a happy medium and try to figure out algebra  :shruggy: :shruggy: :shruggy: :shruggy:

Martin,

Easy for me to say but stay the course. Its going to be a bitch but when you're awarded that Masters degree you'll be walking a foot off the ground. Granted, you'll probably be asleep but it will be worth it!

That would make for two distractions. :slap: Go online and find a program for interactive math. Didn't your book come with a DVD to launch a site that would assist with instruction? Give me the ISBN# and let me see what I can come up with. It helped me a lot with math since I was ok but not great...and I went back to college after years in the real world too. Interactive is great since you can really see it broken down time after time. Buy the answer book and remember...

It is good to hear that you decided to go back to college to further your education.  A lot of quality people just are not having much luck with the bad economy, so the best bet is to stack the chips on the side that might help you land a good job.  If you diversify your educational assets (taking well-rounded classes), it will prepare you for more jobs than you think.  After a bit of a job-hunt (many months :icon_smile_blackeye:) myself, I am now currently teaching full-time at a college (chemistry/math), so if you need help with the algebra, pm me......
