On the ball or over the hill?  (I only feel old when I look in the mirror so I guess that's a good thing)

You're only over the hill if you're older than me! (47)

Exactly the same actually but I guess I'm old enough to remember the "Baccaruda" thing.  :shruggy:

I had a 67 Fastback, 273/2bbl auto - Pale yellow with gold interior. Slept in it a few times. Paid $300.00 for it and could not kill it! The sheet metal on that thing seemed to be twice as thick as on a '70.

That's funny....for my H.S. graduation (1980), I loaded my two best friends into my fastback Barracuda and did a week-long roadtrip to PEI, specifically to see the drag races at Oyster bed bridge. The three of us slept in the car, two in the back (facing opposite directions) and one on the front bench (specially installed for the trip, pirated out of a '70 Swinger). Had a great time, drove up and down the beach at Cavendish, almost got arrested twice, and did our best Cheesh and Chong imitations the whole week. Yeah, we were seeing "chinese".

I don't have one but I'd love to someday. The 67-69 fastback is my 2nd favorite Mopar.

Whaat, shame on you.  :D

Haha that was brilliant - 'That's a fat scene, man!'

Thanks for that!

I'm not a huge fan of the 'Cuda styling before 1970 - but gotta admit, that's a nice ride you bought yourself!  :2thumbs:

And now I'm planning on filling the engine compartment with a 5.7 Hemi!
Has anybody here done anything remotely similar? :scratchchin:

Figured I would weigh in on this one too. I have a 64 fish with pretty much no rust anywhere on the car. Sat in the same garage since '81. It came with a house I bought a few years ago. More pics @ http://www.inceptionnet/Barracuda/Barracuda.htm

I like them too :yesnod: I've found around 4 or so '64-'65 Barracudas sitting. Here's a '70-'71 I've been watching for years now. Everytime I drive by this 'Cuda...more and more stuff is gone. It used to have a taillight panel, it was a '70/'71.  I'm not sure what model of 'Cuda it was ('Cuda, Barracuda Gran Coupe etc). I was heard it was bought just last month by somebody to restore so it makes me wonder if it's a 340 car or something :scratchchin:

I bought this one for the wife a couple of years ago. It got released from customs 7 days before christmas eve and guess what showed up at our christmas eve party after a bit of a clean up. I got some gooooood lovin' for a while after that.  :icon_smile_big:

Hey gang....
I'm doing an inventory of the pieces I'll need to make my Barracuda functional.
One of the more immediate requirements is the little cams that go on either side of the folding rear seat, they disengage the latch on each side as you toggle the seat release lever.
Mine are missing. And I'm having a heck of a time finding these parts.

Any help would be appreciated!
