truck backfires and looses power once it warms up???

ok first dont kill me here with this question but i have a 2000 chevy duelly with a 454. the truck has been running low on power for a while but still ran decent. now when it is warmed up it starts to backfire and has no power hardly at all. does anyone have any suggestions to try?? thanks guys!! :cheers: :cheers:

Thats an easy one go to dealer and trade it in on a new Dodge Truck end of problem :2thumbs:

I'm assuming you have a "check engine" light that's illuminated about now....You'd have to have a code reader to see what the problem is with these newer vehicles....unless you can plainly see a wire off, broken, or the same with a vacuum hose.....Perhaps a good tune up???
