Merry Christmas to me, I am ready to pop for exhaust cutouts. As I should have guessed, there is lots of choice in material amongst the manufacturers.  :scratchchin:

A welder told me to not use stainless because it's too thin. Another's opinion is to use stainless and nothing else. This will be added to the current TTI 3" exhaust (aluminized); heat is not an issue, no issues with snow and salt. So I am looking for members' opinions:

For exhaust cutouts (the cutout unit and the Y pipe) what do you think:

* Aluminum
* Aluminized Steel
* Steel
* Stainless Steel

Thanks, Dan

 I used stainless, it seemed plenty thick.
