I'm still working on my brake/taillights problem. After getting up under the dash board on the drivers side, I noticed there is a flasher on each side of the steering column. The one on the left side has wires going to it and the one on the right does not. Should there be wires going to it? Is one for the turn signals and one for the emergency lights? And since there are no wires to the flasher on the right, could this be causing the problem with not having brake lights and turn signals on the driver's side? (the green wire is dead). I really appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks.

I think the red black wire flasher is the emergency flasher. The other flasher is for the turn signal.Check the wiring diagram .
