my designs for a custom shifter handle

I've been smacking the idea of making a custom automatic pistol gri shifter for my dart for a while now and since I have the time and the tools to do it at school I've decided I will so heres the shifter assembled in autrocad with all the necessary components except for springs and the plate used to shift gears. What do you guys think?

Funny on the way home tonight I was thinking I wanted something differnt for my angry car... That is almost what I had in mind.....Are you thinking billet, steel, chrome, Grips off of?

the handle's gonna be aluminum and everything else except for the button will be steel

Cost?, I tell you that is about what I wanted.... I would do a slight mod to it just so we dont have the same one....

Well see I dfon't have the money to pay someone to make it for me. I'm making it myself in my High School Machining lab. So cost for me is gonna be like 20 bucks for materials.
