It appears that the upgrade forces a login and many, many of you have forgotten your passwords and didn't set up any reminders. Contact me directly through helpmelogin@dodgecharger.com and I'll help sort it out.

I see computers at work (company property) from time to time where people have been let go. They install all kinds of programs and store personal letters and pictures on it (and the occasional password list document).  Amazing stuff from time to time.

Its funny how some have even come back and asked if they could get a copy of thier personal data.

They are always told the system has already been wiped when in reality the system is stored for at least a year in case anything comes up from a legal stand point.

Computers are cheep, Go buy your own computer and keep your personal stuff off company equipment.

I know of two cases where people have been arested because of the stuff left behind.

This has been a friendly public service anouncement.
I now return you to regular programming.   :nana:

I had a situation at my second to last job. I had to replace a motherboard on a salesladys laptop. as you know, if the system doesn't power, you can't remove the evidence. Well. on her desktop where at least 10 pics of her.... well, to use friendly words.... giving oral pleasure to a ton of different guys  :o

She was nasty looking too  :eek2:

We never looked at her the same way again...

A guy I worked with was caught using his office computer one to many times looking at porn.  Ultimately he was released.  A few of our tech guys went through his computer and found pictures of him and his wife participating at a swingers club.  I would have taken at look myself, however she is about 5'3" 240lbs.  Beefy.  :eek2:

Uh oh...

Reminds me of a story a buddy told me last week. Him and his GF like to make "home videos" if you know what I mean. Their camera broke, so thinking she was doing the right thing (and surprising her BF) she dropped the camera at the repair shop.  BF comes home and says "where's the camera, I got the part we need". She says "Oh, I brought it to the shop!".... "Did you remove the card??". NOPE!!

Two weeks later their "home videos" were on the internet and the guy who worked at the shop was no where to be found  :brickwall:

So true. I just bought a 1TB external drive for $99 at Staples. If you had told me 6-7 years ago that could ever happen I'd have said you were crazy.

So did you leave some pics and someone found them or did you find some of someone else? Inquiring minds want to know. Oh and if they are of you, Don't feel the need to post any.

I worked for one day at a legal firm where they had me come in and print out specific personal files of their employees,..
Everyone one but one was clear, as if they had been warned/told to delete all personal info from their P.C.s,.. but this one guy, an attorney, had his entire personal life on his files,..  everything including his two morgages and bank records, internet dateing stuff incl. photos of russian mail-order brides, porn and all his job searches and in particular one cover letter to another competing legal firm with a really incriminating offer to divulge his current clients infomation,..  I figure from the way they had me undertake the search that he was the specifc target, they had me box up all the material and carefully seal them, including his which was more than 3/4 of the printouts,.. I grew increasingly uncomfortable with the task and quit as I left the office that first day.
So a word to the wise,.. Your employer owns any info on their work puter...
