Wasn't Sites 70 R/T Hemi Charger the Dick Landy car driven by Bob Lambeck this should be in the same class of money and history. I :2thumbs: haven't seen Sites on here dose he still own the car?

Ghoste

Not sure, I do know a prominent collector offered him a fair dollar for the car but that was some time ago.

I saw it at Car Craft Summer Nat in St. PaulMN last month, what a beautiful (and loud) car. :drool5: I' m glad I got a pic of it.

He was at Carlisle and still owns the car.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Ghoste

Did he elaborate on his plans for the car at all?

Gah, now I need new underwear  :eek2:
Simply THE meanest, loudest and scariest ride ever to (almost) roll off an assembly line, EOD.
Almost built me a clone, but the project car was so rotten I sold it instead (when the UCA's come off the frame after hitting a bump at 15mph, it's time to buy another car!).
Proud member of the jack stand racing team since 1999.
'70 Charger 500: "Bronson", some kind of hillbilly hot rod in progress.
'89 Chevy Caprice 9C1: "it's got a cop motor..."

Love the Q+A on the Ebay listing:
Q:  really, 285k for an old crappy mopar? be smart. in this economy 205k is a gift. Aug-05-09
A:   I would rather sell my house for 205 and live in a Maytag box under a bridge than sell this car for that price. 285K in this economy is a deal for a car of this caliber. I turned down an offer in 2006 for more than double of what I am asking now. You better just stick with your SS Chevrolet or your Z71 pickup.
