Wiper blade arm removal

Anybody remove the wiper blade arms on their Mopar? (and then put a chrome cap on the post, so no driving in the rain).

I've seen it done on a few 60s/70s cars, and it looks good to great. It looks fantastic on cars from the 30s to 50s.

Thoughts? Pictures?

Do you mean a race car look? Those have the whole linkage and pivots removed. Not a good idea for a street car.
