I hope this isn't a stupid question but what color is the engine? It looks pink on my laptop?

One of the best reads i've had in a long time.Great work on the car...I wouldn't be surprised your story and your car get featured in a magazine like Mopar Muscle or something...I think it should be.

Ahhh.. I see.. you used two floor jacks behind the front wheels to lift and lower the car.  The front jackstands are just for 'temporary support' as you moved the motor and trans into position.  Great Plan!  If you don't mind...  I will 'steal' that idea from you.  Very impressive job on your car!  Great motivation for us newbies...   Thanks for posting...  when do we get to hear it RUN?

I have always dropped engines in from the top.  Never in 30 years have I messed anything up.  That Charger looks damn nice.

Yes, it's been a long time from the last time I posted, but I have been working very hard on the car sense then.

To get my hood to close with the higher intake, I had to cut off the choke horn on the carburetor and lower the base on the air cleaner.

Picture of the engine bay. I did the best I could to make a 600hp 440 engine block look stock.

your car is absolutely stunning. a beautiful job you have done. and not to take away from the car, but i also like the shelf you put in the garage in the pic with the motor setting under the charger. looks to give lots of storage.  :2thumbs:
