The 73 has been running great since I got it back together, yesterday was a nice day so I drove it around alot.
Yesterday evening it started missing real bad...and backfiring alot, so I turned around to get it back home, it died about a block from the house. I tinkered with it on the roadside. To me it sounded as if the timing was off. So I turned the distributor counter-clockwise a little. If fired off and ran decent enough to get it back home.

After getting home, I took my timing light to reset the timing, It was set to 5* BTC, which is what I set it back to. Now its running like crap again. It had been running fine at 5*BTC, so what can the problem be? Any suggestions? Also what would you recommend the timing be set at? I set it at that because that was the factory specs for it (340, 4spd now 360, 4 spd)

Thanks,
Jason
